Step 1
Add the domain in AgentsWise.
Open Dashboard, select Domains, and enter the exact address you want visitors to use. Most customers should start with www.yourdomain.ca.
Your domain stays with the company where you bought it. You only change where visitors are sent. No website files, email settings, or account transfer are needed.
Step 1
Open Dashboard, select Domains, and enter the exact address you want visitors to use. Most customers should start with www.yourdomain.ca.
Step 2
Sign in to GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, Shopify, Cloudflare, or the company where DNS is managed. Find DNS, Manage DNS, or Zone editor, then add this record:
| Record type | Name / host | Value / target |
|---|---|---|
| CNAME | www | agentswise.ca |
Save the record. Keep the default TTL unless your registrar asks you to choose one.
Step 3
www.For yourdomain.ca without www, use your registrar's URL forwarding to send it to https://www.yourdomain.ca. This is the simplest and most reliable choice for registrars that do not support root-domain CNAME records.
If you use Cloudflare or a provider that supports ALIAS, ANAME, or CNAME flattening, you may point the root host @ directly to agentswise.ca instead.
Step 4
DNS changes often appear within a few minutes, but can take up to 24 hours. Return to Dashboard → Domains, open the domain, and select Verify now. Once DNS is verified, set the domain as primary.
Important
A verified DNS record tells AgentsWise where to route the hostname. HTTPS still needs to finish at the hosting edge. Use your existing AgentsWise launch URL while the Domains screen shows SSL as provisioning. If it does not become active, contact support with the domain name and a screenshot of the DNS record.
Troubleshooting
Verification fails: confirm the hostname is spelled exactly as it was added in AgentsWise, remove conflicting www records, then wait and verify again.
Email stopped working: restore any deleted MX or email-provider TXT records. Connecting a website should never require removing them.
You cannot find DNS: search your registrar's help centre for “manage DNS,” or ask their support team to create the CNAME record shown above.
